A partnership works best when each partner is able to contribute something different and complimentary. Such is the case with Austrian Airlines Group: Austrian, Lauda Air and Austrian Arrows.

The top priority for the group is to cater for the needs of their passengers, which in this day and age cannot taken for granted. This is the main reason that the Austrian Airlines Group is renowned the world over for their top quality, efficiency and friendly service.

the task

A relatively small airline like Austrian Airlines could only secure its place in the market through a clearly defined offer and well implemented positioning strategy. It was decided that Sound Branding was the ideal tool to enforce their image in the relative prime touchpoints.

the result

Together with the Branding and design company Landor, we developed a Sound ID, which was consequently implemented. From the basis of a Sound Logo, a complete Sound Communications Kit was derived. This kit consisted of an on-hold loop, background music for business lounges, music for in-flight applications as well as illustrations music for corporate videos.
